1. Responsible as Lead Marine Technician’s assistant, with respect to the responsibility for the marine activities.
2. A team member of the Facility Emergency Response Team.
3. Participate in safety training drills, exercises and briefings.
4. Participate in the monthly Facility Safety Meetings.
5. Operate marine systems with minimal environmental impact and in compliance with legislation and the Management System.
6. Perform the activities of crude oil loading plans, including stability and stress/bending moment calculations.
7. Perform the washing, gas freeing and preparation of cargo/ballast tanks for entry, and the supervision of tank entries and tank work.
8. Auditing of all marine operations to ensure procedural compliance.
9. Participate the safety meetings, toolbox meetings, JHA and inspections are conducted in the Marine Department.
10. Update and implement the operational procedures and work instructions.
11. Coordinate marine related contractors and visitors to the facility.
12. To undertake other job responsibilities as and when required by the Superior.
